The face drawn looked kinda scary actually and was bland. The chocolate custard pig was really great! No complaints. I also got the curry pan and the bear custard not shown in my pics. Ok, I will say that the matcha rose was so damn good it actually filled me up but I had to soldier on and try the other delights. Topped it all off with an iced vanilla latte from groundworks located inside the bakery. I’d have to say the espresso sunrise hits just like a concha ! I went in the morning on a weekend and there was a line out the door, but it moved quickly. There’s street parking nearby and plenty of tables in a nearby green space to eat. The iced chai was good, not the best I’ve ever had but it paired nicely with the bread. The breads themselves are so light and fluffy, I could just keep eating more and more. I love this bakery! There are so many good options, both savory and sweet. Waiting in line for half an hour was definitely worth it. I like this bread over 85’s or Paris Baguette. The bread is so soft! Definitely it uses tanzong style recipe. The place is spotless and the bread/pastries they serve look like you can plant your face right into all of them, and be received by warm plume of softness Tony Woohyun Kim Had the lavender latte, something simple, no fancy colors, a bit of a earthy/tea taste matching well in the flavors of the latte. Their box is super cute as well, overall very put together and tasty. We got their matcha cold brew and their rose matcha latte, both very tasty. We waited about 10-15 minutes in line and got in, ordered our pastries and drinks, and they were out in about 7 minutes. DaisyĪmazing! When we walked up there was a super big line to get in and I knew that was a sign that this place was worth the wait. Plus, salt and butter bun, earl grey tea croissant, and their signature bun with cream. I got the rose and matcha latte for the drink. Julie Chung GroupĮnjoyed many pastries from here. Great pricing: $3-4 for the pastries and ~$5 for the coffee, and it was all delicious. Definitely a must stop place, if there’s a line it’s worth it! It didn’t take long to get through the line at all. Website: What Time Does Okayama Kobo Bakery & Cafe Open?ĭelicious! They had a strawberry and cream cold brew that was amazing.
